One of many greats from the late Lefty Frizzell
What a great, great country legend. When I was a kid, my dad took me to see Lefty. I was as impressed then as I still am now by his music. Nothing like that CRAP they have the gall to call "country" nowadays. I'm also a performer and do lots of classic country covers (including Lefty's songs). Most people have no idea what we're playing and we usually get snickered at by the 20 somethings and 30 somethings. We're un-fazed by that and will never ever play any of the garbage on "country" radio now.
